I applied to a few jobs with my legal name and was rejected for all of them. I tested this theory by applying for jobs with my cv, but with non-western names e.g. Abdul and Jamal

To my surprise, I started getting responses back very quickly, with offers for interviews etc.

I am shocked, as I thought this was an American thing? I worked hard to get to where I am to be a financial analyst, and to get shafted for these reasons seems unfair.
