ok maybe this is just me, but I find Diana and Gabe ”relationship” kinda like emotional insect? I put ”.” around relationship, because he‘s a hallucination. Diana relies on this “son” for emotional support that she almost doesn’t receive from her husband. and Gabe is so possessive of his mother, more like a jealous partner than a ”child“. This might be just me, I found it similar to emotional insect.
