When people used search engines, they often checked the source before trusting the information. They would look at the website, the author, or even compare multiple links. But now, with AI-generated answers, most users simply read the response and move on.
This brings up an interesting question: do users still care about the original source of information, or has the focus shifted completely to the answer itself? If trust is moving from sources to summaries, then the way credibility is built online might also be changing.
