Hi everyone!
I'm a final-year journalism student working on a feature story about whether couples actually have "the money talk" before they move in together — and what happens when they do (or don't).
I'm looking for people who would be willing to share their experience, whether that's:
- You had a really open conversation about finances early on and it made a difference
- You moved in together and money surprises came later
- You wish you'd talked about it sooner
- You actively avoided the topic and it worked out fine
All experiences welcome — there's no wrong answer here, I'm genuinely curious about the range of stories out there.
The interview would be over the phone and take about 30 minutes, and you'd be quoted by first name (or a pseudonym if you'd prefer some privacy). This is for a university assignment, not a commercial publication.
If you're interested or want to know more before committing, feel free to DM me or drop a comment below.
Thanks so much! 😊
