Oh gosh, what to do, I am so messed up right now.
Wedding is July 1st, the flights from Frankfurt, Germany for 5 people to Newcastle were booked in December, the plan was to travel on to Gretna Green, then to Whitley Bay for honeymoon and then back Newcastle - Frankfurt on July 5th.
Now they suggest a rebooking to Manchester for the planned date of June 30st. So how best to travel from there to Gretna? And from Whitley Bay to Manchester Airport? With a child, suitcases, a wedding dress? Would it be better to go by car to Amsterdam and fly directly to Newcastle as planned? What if they cancel these flights as well?
We are all very afraid to drive on the left side, especially with a child on board. So a rental car is kinda the last option. But I will do it, if I have to.
Please don't judge getting married at Gretna, my late father was there and I lived in Whitley for a year in 2004 as Teaching Assistant and it's just us through and through. Thanks for any advice, much much appreciated 🍀🙏
