I'm a Vegetarian[Indian] — looking for a truly non-toxic air fryer (glass, no coating) that ALSO cooks properly inside + outside — does this even exist under ₹8k?
I’m trying to buy an air fryer in India, but I’m very particular about health, materials, and clean cooking.
I’m pure vegetarian, so a lot of my use will be things like paneer, veggies, cutlets, snacks, etc. which means I need even cooking (inside + outside) — not just crispy outside and undercooked inside.
My requirements:
- ❌ No PTFE / Teflon / non-stick coatings
- ✅ Prefer glass bowl (or safest possible material)
- ❌ No toxic fumes or questionable materials
- ✅ Should cook food properly from inside AND outside
- 💰 Budget: ideally under ₹8k (can stretch a bit if worth it)
What I’ve found so far:
- Brands like Bosch / Havells / Morphy Richards → Good performance, but still non-stick coated baskets
- Glass options like Libra or halogen ovens → Better materials, but people say:
- uneven cooking
- not crispy
- weaker airflow
Questions for real users in India:
- Has anyone found a truly non-toxic (glass/stainless) option that actually cooks well inside + outside?
- Any hidden gems (even slightly above ₹8k) that are genuinely clean and perform well?
I’m okay sacrificing a little convenience, but not:

❌ or proper cooking quality
