You’re likely pitching your services instead of offering immediate value.

The Fix: Stop saying "I can do X for you." Instead, find a specific bug, broken link, or bad design on their site.

The Pitch: Record a 45-second video showing them the exact issue and how to fix it.

The Result: You instantly prove your worth, making it a no-brainer for them to reply and hire you to handle it.

You’re probably sending long paragraphs explaining who you are and what you can do. Nobody cares. Clients care about their own problems.

I used to send 100 generic emails a week and got nothing. Now, I send 10 highly targeted ones and get a 30% reply rate. Here is what I changed:

The "No-Brainer" Audit: Instead of pitching, I find a visible flaw in their current setup (e.g., a broken checkout link, a terrible mobile landing page layout, or a missing SEO meta-tag).

The 45-Second Loom: I record a quick video showing the issue, how it’s costing them money, and exactly how to fix it. I don’t pitch myself in the video; I just give away the solution.

The Low-Friction CTA: At the end, I say, "Hey, you can hand this video to your in-house team to fix. But if you don't have the time, let me know and I can jump on it for you this afternoon."

By giving upfront value, they immediately see you as an expert, not a spammer..
