My dad used to be a neon bender back in the 80's for about a decade, and recently acquired all the old equipment from the shop he worked at and is trying to set it up in our garage so we can start making neon again. for him it's been a long time, plus he never worked with the machines to the point of understanding the whole set up, but if there are any neon benders/glass blowers who are knowledgable enough to offer some help in getting the shop running, that would be really great. There obviously aren't many neon benders left in the world, so keeping this art alive is a big thing for us. He has been able to get some of it going and replacing some of the old equipment but he's obviously not super knowledge enough, especially since it's been so long.
