As United Land has an active Senate, there has been a recent poll to ban the Pro-Forma Session. The pro-forma session (in short) is a small, few-second senate session that prevents the senate from going on recess, which prevents recess appointments. Recess appointments occur when the president appoints a justice after one resigns, so this eliminates this session, allowing the president to pick a justice when the Senate is on recess. This also eliminates pointless sessions in which only a strain or two are uttered.
