Have any landlords here done cash damming on their property? I’m getting mixed messaging on if you borrow to pay the mortgage payment if the interest on that loan is tax deductible. Or if only using the loan for other expenses like insurance and utilities counts. Some say that the mortgage payment counts too but others say the principal portion isn’t an expense so doesn’t qualify.
