I used a leather dye on my strap. All seemed to have dried and set. Put my strap in my case on the guitar. Next day i took it out and the strap stuck to the finish of the guitar. I had to apply some force to peel it off. I used naphtha to attempt to remove this but no improvement. Any idea how I might be able to diy fix this? Or otherwise what it would look like for a luthier to fix this?
