Many people are using this line in ncert to argue for 7.6 but this is only for intermediate steps, in the question the only intermediate step is finding the volume

length is given 9.0 which has 2 significant figures so the answer should be in 2 significant figure

now lets come to the intermediate step we need to retain 1 more digit, more than number of significant figure in 9.0 thus we need to retain 3 digits in volume calculation thus 9.0*9.0*9.0 give 729 cm^3 which has 3 digits and matches the rule thus we should keep 729

Now when we divide 5580/729 we get 7.6543209876543209876543209876543 to be exact and we need to round this off to two significant figues thus we get 7.7 g/cm^3 which should be correct answer and given in every other institute's answer key other than NTA

In short I have code 11 paper and in this the answer for question 14 is given option 2 while it should be option 4 which I have marked and I took extra 2 mins or so in exam to find out the third digit after decimal in the calculation which makes it greater than 7.65 as the exact answer is 7.654 thus making the correct option as 7.7 since the calculation is greater than 7.65 then also I think the poeple in NTA solving the paper have only done the calculation till 2 decimals and then they have arrived at the answer, even if they would have used a basic sa calculator then also they would be getting 7.65432 which is greater than 7.65 thus the answer shall be 7.7 yahan koi confusion ka baat hi nahi hona chahiye and most of the institutes are giving answer as option 4 or 7.7 like wth are people in NTA doing?
