Hi all! Sorry if this isn’t the right flair i wasn’t sure 😭. Three days ago I adopted two 1 year old girls from the humane society, and I was told of a mother with a few babies who’s being put out this weekend. I think three or four would be a perfect number so they’re never alone, so I was wanting to adopt the mother and one of her girl babies.

That said, I’m wondering if you guys think this is a good idea number one, and number two how would you recommend I introduce them? My two girls are in a brand new two story critter nation cage. Most of the advice online seems to assumes a long established rat when introducing new ones, so i’m wondering if people have any advice for introducing new rats to that have been there for like a week.. lol.
