The recent 4.0 update to Snapseed has significantly impacted my editing workflow, and unfortunately not in a positive way. The previous interface felt clean, efficient, and professionally designed, while the new UI feels oversized and visually distracting.
The larger buttons and icons introduce unnecessary visual noise, making it harder to properly evaluate and focus on the image during editing. In a photo editing application, the image itself should remain the primary focus, and the new layout reduces that clarity. Additionally, the reorganization of menus and tools has disrupted muscle memory and slowed down what was previously a fast and intuitive workflow.
I understand the intention may have been to modernize or improve accessibility, but the current design sacrifices efficiency and precision for users who relied on the streamlined experience of earlier versions.
I strongly encourage the Snapseed team to consider adding an option to restore or toggle back to the previous interface style. Providing users with a choice between the classic and updated UI would help accommodate both longtime users and those who prefer the new design.
I love this photo and would like to use as a wallpaper, whoever has the full quality image please comment
