Most people think Bitconnect disappeared after the collapse in 2018.
But something interesting happened:
The project died.
The company vanished.
The lending platform shut down.
Yet the original Bitconnect blockchain never stopped.
There are still nodes online and blocks are still being produced.
Which made me wonder:
Why has nobody turned the original Bitconnect chain into a pure meme coin?
Not a lending platform, not a scam, just the abandoned chain as a crypto relic of internet history.
Crypto loves memes and cursed artifacts.
And Bitconnect might be the most legendary one.
Is there any technical reason why this couldn't happen?
Or is it just the reputation?
Genuinely curious what people think.
