DnD at Random Play

DnD at Random Play

Was just imagine: When Phaethon invite friend to DnD, which class would each one of them pick?

Grace and Norma were easy picks for an Artificer.

Anton would embrace a Barbarian playstyle and also keep his starter weapon for the entire run. Corin would be hesistant to pick something first but with enough encouragment would go fully devote herself into the roleplaying aspect. Magus wouldn't care much for the game, but Orphie gonna convince her and she just rolls Barbarian. Soukaku would most likely be very invested first but mostly just stay for the snacks. Zhao gonna pick a Goliath and roll Barbarian, she certainly doesn't try to compensate anything.

There is no way Astra wouldn't pick a Bard and Nicole just gonna roll for it too to scam every NPC she crosses, maybe later also multiclass into Rogue for some thief skills.

Rina was a bit complicated to put, but I think she would just pick Cleric for the very early access to Spiritual Weapon and also be able to stay behind. She most likely would go for Tempest or Trickery domain. Manato is such a bro, he would just fill in what is needed and play a hybrid tank/support for his party. Wise would have one of the most min-maxed builds imaginable.

Fufu 100% gonna pick Druid as soon as she hears she can wild shape into a big ferocious animal and later multiclass into Barbarian.

Most bloated: The Fighter. Alice was a coin toss between Fighter Battlemaster and Rogue Shwashbuckler, but for her dignitiy she would most likely pick Fighter with a Noble background. Anby and S11 gonna pick Fighter too. Lighter would pick Fighter solely to play a Champion. Same for Koleda, since she just wants to hit stuff and also don't have to think too much. Caesar gonna roll with it, but also design a wonderful background fpr her character being a princess that disguises herself as a knight. Harumasa is going to pick Arcane Archer but would mess up the schedule the most for his party after the first session.

I feel like the Monks are pretty easy to explain: Banyue gonna go Open Hand, Pan either Open hand or Drunken Master. Qingyi and Yanagi would embrace staff combat entirely and Yixuan go for a more magical approach with Four Elements Monk.

I also feel the Paladins are self-explanatory: Billy gonna go full Starlight Knight, Miyabi wants to smite, Seth is going to play a more tanky and supportive Paladin build and Lycaon is the one that constantly babysits the Rogue in the party.

Okay, I already see people yelled at me not making Harumasa a Ranger, but hear me out: Rangers aren't the best archer class and have much more variety than that. Lucy would go Beastmaster for the sole reason to summon a bunch of animal companions (minions), Trigger gonna go Gloom Stalker and Zhu Yuan would pick Hunter with a Folk Hero background.

The second most crowded class: Rogue. Most here seem obvious: Hugo and Nekomata ofc go Thief subclass. Evelyn would multiclass with Fighter but first pick Rogue for all the proficiencies. Cissia is honestly just there for the snacks while playing. Jane gonna roleplay an Assassin and Pulchra feels like someone that would play Arcane Trickster.

Belle is pretty much like Wise gonna min-max, but also puts a lot of flavor into her roleplay and background. Burnice does not care how big the room is, she casts Fireball. Nangong Yu and Orphie were a bit harder to place, but I settled with Sorc for both, since NGY comes (apparently) from a very influential family and is naturally gifted, so a Sorc makes perfect sense. Orphie most likely wants to stay back as much as possible, but I can't see her picking up Wizard or a martial class. Vivian multiclasses with Warlock for maximum Eldritch Blast.

Warlocks were easy picks, bcs all these 3 already have some kind of Patreon and I doubt any of them would be clever enough to not do the same in a game of DnD. Shungus ofc goes Hexblade.

Lucia was an easy pick for a Wizard. Yuzuha is most likely the one that is most into the idea playing DnD, aside from Phaethon and is gonna do her best (or worst) to give the DM a headache. Sunna feels appropiate here and also would have constant beef with Sorc NGY. Dialyn... yeah... was hard to put her, but I imagined she likes summoning and enhancing stuff. She would not play a Necromancer though, bcs that would be kinda fucked.

Ben just strikes me as the guy that has an absolutely interesting OC but he is too polite and just DM's everytime, setting up the board and campaign with perfect precision. Yidhari on the other hand is a bit more messy on the technical side, but invests an absurd amount of time into world building and NPC background stories.

Lastly, Ellen and Piper just gonna fall asleep during session 0 and just take the game nights to get a nap.
