Only had these girls for two weeks. I also found some beetles in the hive so I removed some underused frames that way there’s less ground for them to defend. Should I squish the queen cell or leave it be? Also it looks like there might be two families of bees in the hive, some of the workers are darker than others. I’m located in New England.
