Hurt leg?
Not sure where to ask for advice in this, so hi! My boy and I was chilling yesterday, I went down to grab some chips and he follows as usual, I head back up and less then a minute later he comes upstairs after me, except he’s halting. He was fine less then a minute before and I didn’t hear any commotion that would insinuate that he’d fallen from something or hurt himself. He acts as usual, used the cat toilet, eats and drinks, and moves around as he usually would, except that he’s halting. He’s actively trying to not put pressure on his left leg by keeping it up, but I’ve seen that he can when he must. He lets me hold and look at his paw, and there’s no sign that anything’s broken or that it’s hurt. It looks and feels fine, he even lets me move and press on the joints and skin without problem. I’m in a bit of a difficult financial situation at the moment and I don’t wanna take him to the vet unless I have to… how long should I wait before taking him to get checked if it dosent get better? Anything I should look after/be aware of?
I feel horrible for him, but at the same time he’s completely fine and his usual self, he just walks around a bit wonky 😭 adding a morning photo of my boy
