I am a very hot sleeper and I’m also autistic so being too hot can be very overstimulating for me. I bought a cooling blanket that says 100% Nylon on the tag and 100% polyester on Amazon. I tried sleeping with it but it got so hot and kept slipping off of me because it was too smooth.
I decided to go on a deep dive on what makes for an actually affective cooling blanket and saw everything from 100% cotton with a waffle weave to bamboo blankets that both look too thin and/or have horrible texture and still have no idea what to get.
If someone could point me in the right direction to a medium heavy blanket that won’t trap heat and won’t have a horrific texture that would be lovely. My budget is anything $60 or under and if there’s fun colors that would be nice but it’s not a requirement.
