$450USD is approved by my boss, I will pay up to $50 extra if it’s worth it.

Are you open to refurbs/used?

Cannot be refurb or used

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

will be plugged in most times. If I’m on the road I have a power inverter in my truck. I like thinkpads and have used them in the past.

How important is weight and thinness to

It would be nice if it’s thin or lightweight , not super picky

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

N/A

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

outlook, chrome, Microsoft office , Microsoft Remote Desktop

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

I’ll probably play Pokémon showdown. That’s it though.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

touchscreen could be nice but not needed. Going to an external keyboard and mouse 90% of the time

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

Im not terrible picky. I just don’t trust myself making this decision with limited knowledge of laptops. AMD/Intel is fine. I’ve been told to avoid celuron (might be spelled wrong) but I’m not sure why.
