Why did Beyoncé start teasing Act III so early if it isn't coming out soon?
All those Halloween costumes—channeling Prince and Betty Davis—even before the Cowboy Carter tour fully kicked into gear, her celebration of Prince Day in 2024, and that Valentine's Day merch with the "Sexy Rock N Roll" messaging. I believe this project might have faced legal or artistic changes, forcing her to postpone it for a very serious reason.
