I was tested for SIBO and got 12 ppm CH4. I just got approved to take Xifaxin, however, my doctor is unwilling to prescribe neomycin or flagyl. I’m planning on taking Allimax Pro in addition to the Xifaxin during treatment, other than that I don’t really know what I should be doing. What is recommended for IMO other than an allimax and Xifaxin protocol? What things should I be taking during and after the protocol? Thank you!!

I bought a pair of knee sleeves the other day because I’ve been dealing with some knee pain. I usually rep 155lbs on leg days, but the first time I used knee sleeves, I was able to add ten pounds onto it with relative ease. I almost feel weird about using them now because im afraid they might be too much of a crutch to use for back squats, but honestly they make squatting so much better. I usually dread doing them, but I don’t anymore. Has anyone else had this experience? How often do you use knee sleeves, if you do.
I’m freshly 18, so my provider is very cautious about prescribing me too many antibiotics. I’m pretty sure she just wants to prescribeXifaxin and not neomycin as well. My CH4 ppm value is 12, with 10 being the threshold for IMO. Given my value is so low, do I have a better chance of going into remission with just Xifaxin?
