22 year old Gen Z World Champ Wu Yize
Wu seems to be a different character to Zhao Xintong who's more old-school personality wise. He's into fashion and has appeared as Tiffany events in China.
Over 2 decades since snooker had a 22yo WC winner.... While it's too early to speak of a generational shift, post-2000 kids like Chang, Moody, even 2011er Michal Szubarczyk will soon be breathing fresh air into the sport. Hopefully they'll inspire more kids to pick up a cue and try snooker.
