i have my first politics exam later today and i basically know nothing, probably will fail, but i spent so much time revising for it that i neglected my further stats exam tomorrow so i know nothing for that either

do i just give up on stats and focus on mechanics next week or is it possible to revise it in one night? i haven’t done a past paper in a while either… 🫩

this is AS so there are 4/5 topics on the stats paper

i have an exam at 1:30pm tomorrow and i barely know anything. i need to remember 11 pages worth of content to pass but idk how to do it.

i have a general idea of what some of the content is but i can’t remember the specifics. what do i do? do i pull an all nighter?

my as further maths exam is in 3 hours and i just got a c on a past paper and lost marks on the easiest questions of all time it’s actually over for me 😭😭🥀🥀🥀

for anyone that needs them, i’ve just found resources for unit 1.1.1-1.2.3 AS WJEC gov and politics online. i don’t know how good they are but they were published by Hwb so i think they’re official resources??

to find them, search up “hwb wjec as government and politics unit (e.g.) 1.1.1” or dm me and i’ll send it to you

they’re quizlet flashcards but formatted as a pdf/word document. when i tried to follow the quizlet link it didn’t let me but you could copy and paste the info into your own flashcards.

also if anyone finds them for unit 2 pls lmk :)

is anyone else here doing wjec AS politics? if you are, what resources are you using to revise and have you found any high scoring example essays?

all of my in class essays have been around 18/22 or 20/24 but i’m a bit worried that my teacher’s using AI to mark them and i won’t actually do that well in the real exams. also is there a difference between unit 1 and unit 2 question structure?

my attendance is at 79/80% and i’m actually terrified i’m about to get kicked out

i already missed quite a lot of school earlier this year because i was ill for two weeks with food poisoning (which i don’t have a gp note for so it went mostly unauthorised) and now i’ve missed even more school because of my mental health, which i haven’t been diagnosed for so i can’t even use that as a reason to excuse my absence. (thank u nhs waiting lists…)

i have AS exams coming up and i’m actually starting to have mild panic attacks over the possibility of getting kicked out before exams, or maybe even after they’re over.

i have a meeting next week about my attendance and im actually terrified. they told me it was just to “support me TO my exams” but they never said what’s going to happen after them. i’m also a little paranoid that they’re lying abt the context of the meeting to get me to show up and it’s just going to be a one and done “you’re out of here” 💀

if i get kicked out i can’t retake year 12 or go to a different school so my life is just going to be over. i’m already stressed enough about my exams in a week i actually don’t think i can handle this on top of it.

just wanted to vent cause i have literally no one else to talk to about this lol

hello, i’m looking for a pair of wireless earbuds (preferably on the cheaper side) which meet this criteria:

• no audio leak or minimal audio leak - i’ll only be listening on low volume anyway but i want to make sure nobody can hear anything as i’ll be using the earbuds in quiet rooms

• audio will still play when only using one earbud

• NO CASE/ALERT NOISES! - my current airpod case makes a really loud chirping noise when moved and it basically makes them unusable for me as i can’t turn it off 😭 i also have a pair of xm4 headphones which i love but the constant “power on” “power off” is getting a little annoying lol

basically the goal is super inconspicuous earbuds which can’t be noticed by anyone else. the audio quality can be absolute garbage, as long as it meets the points above i’ll take it
