Hello, I am a sophomore in high school in Washington state and I am planning on going to UW when I graduate. I want to know if I should major in marine biology or MLS. I have wanted to be a marine biologist for years and it would be my dream job, but I hear it is very competitive and the entry pay is bad. I have had some interest in MLS for about a year and I hear it is less competitive and you can almost guarantee a job at a hospital. I would be fine with either but I’m leaning more towards marine biology. I also want to know what classes I should take in high school.
