TLDR; What courses should I take for multiomics and in-depth analysis that is done in multiomics?
So I'm from Pakistan and there's little to no scope for bioinformatics or biotech here, which I also find true. I took a course "multiomics" at my university and this is the first time the course had been offered in our university, plus not found anywhere else. Now, the course did introduce me to the field but it's still not good enough. I had no prior R experience, no statistics courses taken before, so I was deep in the waters and barely gained much out of it as I used AI to help me with it. Summers are here, and now I would like to formally take separate courses and gain field knowledge. First of all, I believe I should take an R course, as it's absolutely necessary for this field. After that, I'm not sure what. There are probably a lot of courses on udemy, which is why I thought I should come here and ask for opinion as I don't have anyone else to ask from: what course apart from an R course should I take? I do understand some level of stats that I have experienced in the course (parametric vs non parametric tests, correlation and its types), however I am still very weak when it comes to formal data analysis. My instructor gave us an independent case study assignment and the entire class failed the assignment as we simply put the data up in the report without really analysing it.
