My friend and I got into Columbia. I’m going and he’s not…. So I have an idea.

I’m filling out the housing application and a double consists of a shared bathroom with your roommate. But I don’t want a roommate.

My idea is to have my friend fill it out the application with me and say we are rooming together so I get the room and bathroom to myself. My questions:

1. Will he be charged a fee for filling it out and never going?

2. Will the school try to fill in the spot after arrival day?

3. Is this a stupid idea Lol.
