Aura migraine vs ocular migraine?

The only way I can explain the feeling is this: imagine you’re wearing goggles, water starts to come in the side of the goggle and my vision get all crazy weird and then I have a headache afterwards. My eye dr told me is was probably an ocular migraine, then my gyno told me it was an aura and I needed to see a neurologist and I could be at risk for stoke - so that was fun.

Also about 2 weeks ago my pupils were uneven in size but still dilating normally and my eye dr wasn’t concerned. I, on the other hand, have been spiraling. I have an appt tomorrow with my PCP to get a neuro referral and going back to eye Dr for another check up. Eye Dr also said my pupils were about 2mm different In size dilated and contracted so??

The first time i ever had an “aura” or “ocular migraine” I was about 7 months PP. I’ve always gotten bad headaches so I didn’t think much of it. But my daughter is almost 4 and they still happen. I’ve always thought they were hormonal bc they tended to happen around my ovulation time. So weird. They also happen after sex… so weird.
