WHAT IF SOMEONE MAKE AN ALTERNATE HISTORY ROBLOX WEBSERIES?
Personally, I’ve already attempted this two different times with my old, cancelled project and a new one—which actually was a continuation of the old project’s previous ideas. And the whole idea is circulating around, “What if, Roblox took a new path in education and technology advancement—rather than its traditional entertainment approach and the world mistook them for it?”
Radically, this shifted a lot of paradigm in the known modern history: Jon Favreau becoming an animator, directing for a Roblox‘s Egg Hunt film—kickstarting a modern cinematic universe. Tyler, The Creator joining Roblox’s educational program and starting his gaming career independently rather than joining the now-disbanded rap collective, Odd Future.
All this culminating into an event, the ”Bloxiemania”. A worldwide phenomenon rivaling the awe-stricken phase felt in the 1960s, where The Beatles arrived in America and were surrounded by the unkempt fan-girls—happened now but applied to the Roblox fan base. Which concerns our old pal David Baszucki greatly.
The series, as the way it was planned, and written, presents itself likened to the renowned analog horror webseries and graphic novel, The Monument Mythos and Watchmen. Where details are kept implicit and unreliable in video’s descriptions/back-matter excerpts and in-universe “artifacts”—which all tell an interconnected narrative non-linearly.
