I posted a few days ago and it really helped me clarify the features I needed. Thought I had it all down but someone even notified me of a couple other elements I should seek out in a mech keyboard. The problem I ran into however is that I haven't been able to find all of what I needed at my price point, so I'm back for more help. Here is what I need:

Price point: <= $ 200.00 Up from 150, but if I missed something then super bonus if I can still get this sub 150.

Must haves

  • low profile
  • tenting
  • low actuation point (25 - 35gs)
  • split
  • wired
  • return option (Still don't know how my hands will react so need to use it for a week before feeling safe with it)

Would be super cool to have

  • color options. Little burnt out with black keyboards.
  • number pad
  • staggered keys
  • payment installments

Thank you again for your help wizards. You were very helpful for me last time <3

Close to purchasing a split mech keyboard but I have one nagging question I wanted some feedback on.

Most people say that mech keyboards have greater potential to alleviate rsi and carpal tunnel pain. However, the last mech keyboard, the MageGee Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08V4DZ14F?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

I purchased, exacerbated my pain. It had blue key switches, which have an actuation force around 50 - 60gs.

The keyboard I use now, even though it's not perfect, is the K585 logi external keyboard with scissor switches, and they have a slightly higher actuation force of 60-65g.

Should I expect a mech split keyboard to do a better job of alleviating my pain if it is tented and has a smaller actuation force, even though the last time I tried a mech keyboard it made my hand feel worse?? Anyone have a similar experience to mine?
