I’ve seen some people calling Markaz Al Fawzaan a scam because of subscription issues, but honestly, that’s not accurate at all.
The subscription system is connected to your own PayPal account, not controlled by the institute. They do not have access to your PayPal and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf. You manage it yourself directly through PayPal.
I’ve personally cancelled and reactivated my subscription multiple times without issues. If someone leaves the subscription active, they’re still technically subscribed as a student. That’s how recurring PayPal subscriptions work in general.
Before accusing an institute of scamming, people should first understand how the payment system actually functions. Throwing around accusations without knowledge is unfair and serious.
As for the program itself, it’s one of the very few structured Arabic and Islamic studies programs online that is affordable, self paced, and actually organized step by step. A lot of students benefit from it, especially people who cannot commit to fixed live schedules.
Criticize fairly if needed, but misinformation helps nobody.
