FrostTab v1.1.0 My free new tab extension just got a premium welcome screen, dock controls, and 40+ local app icons
Hey everyone!
I'm a solo developer and FrostTab is my free Chrome extension that replaces your new tab with a premium frosted-glass dashboard live wallpapers, draggable widgets, an AI tools radial menu, and a macOS-style app dock.

macOS Dock Toggle
- You can now show/hide the bottom dock from Settings
- Perfect for users who want a 100% clean, minimal wallpaper view
40+ Local App Icons
- All icons (Google apps, AI tools, etc.) are now bundled locally
- Zero external network requests for icons = instant loading + fully offline capable
Redesigned Settings Panel
- Widget toggles are no longer hidden behind a confusing accordion
- Everything is now visible and organized with premium iOS-style toggle switches
Full Code Audit
- Removed all dead CSS, stale comments, duplicate entries
- Zero console.log statements in production
- Fixed CSS bugs (duplicate transforms, orphaned rules)
