Hi,

I've got a Legion Lro 5 Gen 10 with the below specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX GPU: GeForce RTX 5060 Model:

Legion R7000P ADR10

I mostly edit short videos using Davinci Resolve Studio and have a strange problem. Wondering if anyone has come across the same and fixed it?

The problem: Exporting a video doesn't use GPU with the render time showing several hours to complete.

How do I know my settings are correct? Davinci Resolve preferences are set to use the NVIDI GPU specifically and neither auto nor AMD.

If I copy the entire timeline into a new project and export, it renders using GPU.

But, as soon as I edit anything on the new project and try to render again, it uses the CPU again unless I copy the entire timeline again into a new project and render. This causes me to have multiple projects for the same video.

Not an ideal solution. Any guidance is appreciated.
