Post is regarding r6 gamer groups! Forgot to put that Hey fellow gamers, be it a group you had for a few months or maybe years, we have all had a group that broke up.

I (20F) never had an issue with it before (except emotional), but my last group was the group that made me love R6.

Some things went down on all ends and eventually there were only a few of us left. We grew apart or fell apart, and eventually my love for the game did too. I stopped playing for almost a year and now I can't seem to be happy when playing. I make lfg posts but most people aren't down to play for long periods with someone new. Its hard to make friends or gaming buddies when most people already have a group and just need someone to play with until their group is online.

How do y'all get back into your favorite games when this happens? Any tips on making new friends? I was kinda pulled into my last group and never had to make one on my own. I'm not great at leading the conversation so I like to focus on comms and stuff, but when I do try to talk, I feel like the ground should open up and swallow me 😭

TL;DR: group fell apart and playing my favorite pvp game feels like a chore now. I don't do well with socializing and was pulled into my old group. How do you get that spark back in the game? Any tips on forming a group when you're quiet and seem to only attract quiet players? I love background chatter (with comms as well) but suck at leading

This post is getting some traction and people are starting to DM, just wanted to say this:

I already have a partner and am not looking for someone who isn't respectful of that. I am more than happy to shoot the shit without the flirty/ disrespectful stuff :))

Edited to add game name

Edit 2: added line regarding having a partner and open dms to play
