The new SotR trailer has motivated me to keep reading Catching Fire at a more consistent rate. I just finished Chapter 21 last night.
Plutarch is definitely based on Philip Seymour Hoffman, though I picture him as being taller/larger than the actor.
I've been trying to de-age my design for middle-aged Haymitch in order to get teen Haymitch.
Burdock is basically a taller, male version of my Katniss design with smaller eyes. I kind of imagine Katniss and Prim as having large eyes inherited from Asterid (though the shape of Katniss' eyes and nose is more like Burdock's). Prim has softer features compared to Katniss and a different nose shape.
Madge is based on McKenna Grace.
I'm glad that Suzanne Collins went into a bit more detail when describing the other victors (Seeder having the Seam look but with golden eyes, Johanna having spiky hair and wide-set brown eyes, etc). I kind of defaulted to imagining Wiress and Beetee as being of Asian descent, though, after reading their description.
