New to Boglehead Investing: Is Now the Right Time and Which Index Funds?

Hey Bogleheads,

I’m relatively new to Bogle-style investing. I had some stock market experience during COVID and took a bad loss, so now I’m committed to a more disciplined approach. However, I see the market (e.g., SPY) at all-time highs. Is it still a good time to start?

Also, should I use dollar-cost averaging (DCA)? If so, how frequently—daily, weekly, monthly—and how much should I allocate?

Could you please name specific index funds you’d recommend? Should I go through Vanguard, Fidelity, or another platform?

Lastly, should I consider a separate allocation to AI/tech sectors, given their growth, or just stick to the core index approach?

Thanks for your advice!
