Fastening closet cabinet carcasses together
I’m looking for advice on tools and materials people find useful for the following purpose:
I’ve built custom closet plywood carcasses using 11/16 inch beech birch plywood. The closet is generally three boxes wide stacked two boxes high.
- what screws or other fasteners are best purchased for connecting the boxes to each other
- so I don’t overdo it, what’s the best number of fasteners per box, between side-by-side boxes and ones that are stacked on top of each other
- is it preferable to counter sink and hide the screws (assuming screws) or is it better to use something that can be removed later?
[The photo shows my boxes with one box missing (still finishing that one)]
