Midori MD quick test

I must say this isn't a serious review by any means but I tested my brand new Midori MD (A5) to see how my current used inks performs in what affects me the most and that's the ghosting (see- through) and the results surprised me a bit.

I tested those inks:

- Gel ink Uniball signo 207

- Rollerball ink Uniball eye (fine)

- Hybrid ink (Easyflow 9000)

- Ballpoint ink Rotring (rotring 600)

To my surprise the ghosting was exactly the same with all four inks. It's disturbing because the seeing through is pretty evident in all four inks but that's something I knew before purchasing it.

I didn't expect ghosting using a ballpoint though.

That said, it's been a great pleasure to use this Midori MD notebook, I just wanted to warn about that detail.

▲ 3 r/pens

I wear a shirt for work and like to carry my pen in my chest pocket, but with my Rotring 600 I have to use my fingernails to open the clip, making it difficult to put in my pocket. The same goes for a Parker Jotter and most other pens.

The Zebra Sarasa Grand, on the other hand, has a perfect mechanism for its practicality and is super quick and easy to slip into my pocket. Are there any alternatives of equal or better quality with a metal body, even if they're more expensive than the Zebra?

Thx!
