Put on a Pip, failed pip, told they will let me know outcome in 3 weeks...
I was put on a 3 month pip, and today at the meeting I had "met most expectations' but not "all expectations due to a missed meeting (got my schedule wrong!) That I attended at the last 5 minutes (of all the meetings I had to mess up on!) and some earlier planning deliverables that I missed due to submitting the wrong format from misunderstanding, though I ultimately delivered the 3 tools I had to build. I've improved in all other aspects but unfortunately they said I didn't meet it as I had to meet all expectations. And said no action has been taken yet but I'll know in 3 weeks when they decide what to do, and my manager will continue to monitor behaviours.
Like, I'd rather be sacked now than to just be hanging up limbo. Has anyone else had this happen? It's even more anxiety inducing than just knowing. Why wouldn't they just fire me?
