Could there have been teenage viltrumites that were born after the scourge virus? If so it's kinda sad like comparing them to older viltrumites they genuinely could've been redeemed and been happy on earth.
I haven't read the comics nor do I know much about populations and repopulation.
But from what I've seen and have read so far from different perspectives on the subreddit idk it wouldn't seem entirely impossible would it?
I doubt that all the survivors of the scourge virus were blood related, like you're telling me if the billions that died the remaining 50 were all related? So with that in mind and the fact that the scourge virus took place hundreds of not around a thousand years ago would it be crazy to deduce that the Viltrumites including Thragg had atleast a generation or 2 among themselves before it would lead to inbreeding?
Like we also have that interaction with Nolan and his executioners back in season 3 where they said they looked up to him as a kid, now that could very well mean that they looked up to him as a kid when they were back in viltrum.
Also looking at some of the character designs they look to be in their teens or 20s if we compare them to other human looking characters like Mark, Eve, Amber, William and William's bf. YES I KNOW THE ANIMATION ISN'T GREAT AND CAN'T HE ACCURATELY TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHEN TALKING ABOUT THIS.
Another thing is idk if it's a visual/design choice but Nolan with the grey hair does look significantly older than his peers and in human years does look to be around 40-45. But it kinda throws me off cuz I can tell how old the male characters are but not quite the female ones unless I hear their voices or their ages are stated or referenced
I just wished we got more fleshed out viltrumites characters, or OC viltrumite characters. Could you imagine one of the remaining now 37 being like 250 years old but looks 15-18 and in season 5 when Thragg orders them to blend in the human Pop they just have to go to highschool or college and they can't repopulate or have children easily (especially if they're a girl) cuz they'd learn concepts about consent, (LOOKING AT YOU ANISSA 💀) sex education and sexual orientation.
Also it could delve deeper exploring viltrumites who are "teenagers" and challenge Thaedus' ideology, where we know that viltrumites were indoctrinated to kill, slaughter and genocide and overtime they became wholly devoted to that ideology of being the superior beings. But for those who were born and raised after 99.99 percent of their population was wiped out I'd imagine that the reality would be quite different (at least that's my opinion, it's like being born after the Roman empire split in 2 and claiming they're still the greatest civilization to exist and that they're the strongest or something like that). My point is that they could or would have a much easier and interesting time transitioning out of that brainwashed nonsense and it would be interesting to see that unfold.
I just always feel bad when people die when it isn't their time or when it's something that they didn't deserve. Like those little kid viltrumites killing their friend during the purge or other young viltrumites in general. Also when I see normal people getting killed in the show by that massive fight Mark has with other viltrumites.
