Can we talk about the actual Winx club canon vs "Fan-Wank"?

I've been thinking a lot about how people discuss power levels. It feels like a lot of conversation comes from "fan-wank" or applying to real-world physics to things. Especially when it comes to Winx club.

And I hear things from people saying "Flora can give cancer" or "Musa can liquify organs and split the earth" or "Aisha can control blood" or "Bloom has no limits", when I try to find proof in the official lores, I don't see anything that supports their claims.

As someone who used to be interested in vs, I find the official Winx powers more interesting than just exaggerating them, I usually just see them makeing Winx characters "overpower or murder a non-magical character, to a Winx character draw or lose against a magical character" instead of an actual match, I see this a lot and it feels forced.

When people make them into "Gods that can tear apart everything" they lose the stakes, in the official lore, they are powerful, tactical fairies who rely on teamwork and emotional growth to win- not "flesh destroying merciless Non-mortal gods".

Why do people feel the need to do all this to make them "cool" or "better" or "more important"? Isn't the official lore of Bloom and the Dragon Flame or the specific rules of transformations like Enchantix and Sirenix enough? Are people ignoring that Winx club's power levels don't exist? Why do people think there personalities are blood lusting instead of heros that save planets and universes?

I'd love to hear from people who prefer the official canon and evidence over the hypothetical math.

Question 1. As the people who loves magical girls, what's your opinion about non magical girls like Goku and others.

Question 2. Which one do you like more from battle shonen.

Question 3. who is your favorite to least favorite magical girl and favorite to least favorite non magical girl.

This is what I've experienced from these misogyny and underestimating that are interesting.

First, of course Goku vs Sailor Moon, in YouTube videos and shorts, people say in a mean way that goku can use his magic to spawn zeno to erase sailor moon and the universe, Goku doesn't have magic to spawn zeno he has to have a zeno button to do it and also they don't realize that sailor moon has the power to erase goku and the universe too.

Second, while these small mythical pokemon may not be 'magical girls' but this one is pretty interesting because these people think their feminine with magic and that's why I putted them here, Wolfgang vs Meloetta on death battle fanon wiki, Akuma vs Meloetta from deviant from SonicPal, and other matchups with other small mythical pokemon like celebi, victini, and diancie, comments in each of them were pretty salty by flatting out disagreeing with the creator of the matchup's opinion in a negative way saying 'i disagree with the verdict' 'Wolfgang would kill her with one punch' 'Meloetta is weaker than gen 4 to 6 mythical Pokemon' 'Wolfgang can push through her powers' 'Im glad he won' 'Biased😡' and than the Akuma vs Meloetta comments when they were being hissy against the creator of the match's opinion on the verdict (which was meloetta). These matchups got people angry that they made revenge matchups to make their favorite or the character they preferred to win murder the pokemon that won, it feels like people can't make fun matchups with these pokemon without people acting like this, they don't realize that these pokemon would truly win with their hax.

Third, Dragon ball characters like Goku vs Madoka, in the youtube comments, they were mocking Madoka and her fans saying Madoka and her verse is fodder and overrated, they don't realize she is universal to multiversal.

These people just want a masculine and manly character to win everytime but if they don't win, those people get so angry that they'll attack the creator of the match or jump out to attack the character that rely on magic or special abilities and hax instead of physical streingh. They act like these characters are damsels in distress and they just love to downplay them and hype up their favorites to make them look like they can kill a god, even though their favorites were never gods in the first place. They don't know that physical streingh and magic/hax are not the same and they affect differently. They can be physically strong but can still be affected by magic and hax, just like their trying to argue that a character with magic and hax can be injured easier from a physical impact. And than they claim that goku is high outerveral or omniversal/no boundaries.

What do you think about this kind of misogyny and underestimating issue.

I’ve noticed that the toxic power scaling debates from TikTok are starting to take over other parts of the fandom and versus discussions. It’s honestly making me feel pretty down. It feels like those kinds of people care more about their favorites destroying a character than just makeing a fair fight and a proper battle itself. Is anyone else feeling exhausted by this?"

Examples of what I have seen so far:

Death Battle Fanon wiki: Stella vs Blackout, Stormy vs Stormfront, Meloetta vs Musa, Roxy vs Repunzel.

Death Battle Fandom wiki: Zelda vs Bloom (comments).

Winx club vs Sailor Moon (one that said I think Winx club can eat up the Sailor scouts, sorry- not sorry)

Youtube Shorts: Goku vs Musa.

Youtube: Musa vs Ryuko (comments).

Deviantart: Meloetta vs Musa, Bloom vs Twilight Sparkle (comments), Musa vs Ember McClain (comments).

Reddit: Miraculous ladybug vs Bloom from April 6 2025 (comments) (and the one that said "They can turn into Tynix and go inside of Miraculous Ladybug and destroy her heart"), Winx club vs Smash Bros.

How are you dealing with this toxicity now, and are you not talking about this by just avoiding these debates entirely?
