Why is there a complete consensus on the theory the past can’t be altered because everything is already decided, rather than the past can be altered, but it would change the future, so by definition we are watching the final conclusion of all past changes after future knowing beings (eren/ymir/others) decided to stop changing them.

I dont think eren not changing the past and throwing us into another future with an alternate reality of “ what if x was different “ is a good enough argument that the past can’t be changed.

I also dont think we can take eren’s word that he spared batman and sent the titan to his own mother. this is the same eren that lied about mikasa’s headaches. thought s?
