Asics Superblast 3

These are great. 10/10

Im looking forward to recovery days in these.

I almost got not all whites and broke my streak since the other colorways rock 😮

Ive been using these while retraining myself over the last 2 months as to get back into comp shape. Because I hit 30 recently, so I guess thats a 1/3 life crisis? Eh, who cares im almost back to a 5 flat mile, so thats badass 🤷‍♂️

Overall 9/10 - These are a very good shoe and might be a top 3 for me ever.

Size: 10.5 True

Pros - Comfortable, Durable, Quality, Plastic Plated (not carbon) for training, incredibly stylish, feels fast, bridges the gap of carbon shoes allowing you to get race day work in without having to put miles on the race day shoes.

Cons - Firm, Deff would reccomend as only an up-tempo super trainer, Pricy, Toe Box could be a smidge wider but was fine once broken in.

My last pair of shoes was the Clifton 9s and I ran the life on those over a year of daily usage. Maybe a 5k a week and a slow mile to warm up for the gym type of running. (8/10 on the Cliftons btw), so I decided to get an uptempo trainer to "lock in."

These have responded very well. I appreciate the plastic springboard in lieu of carbon as it works to bridge that gap to plated shoes. I ran my 1st race back (in Metaspeed Skys) since retraining and as someone who hasnt trained in 10+ years it was an easy transition to the new "super shoe" thing that the kids are raving about. I freakin love them though, I deff would have hit my 1:55 goal back in the day in 800s with some Meta-sky spikes; theyre so sick.

I wouldnt recomend it as a daily since it is still plated, but I'd say you can with minimal risks. I would still get a good recovery day shoe to pair with it however, these are pretty low plush if you arent used to training with competitve intensity.

The shoe itself is very comfortable and my only real two complaints are that I would have liked a touch more plush on the heel and I wish the toe box allowed for a little more splay. Though the strike point was great, I do prefer that to be a touch more firm (that will probably change I transition into longer distances).
