Hey everyone. My wife and I recently bought a house that has a small pond in the backyard. We want to put some koi fish in there but have no idea where to start in terms of how to prepare the water to make it suitable for the fish.
We drained, power washed, removed all slush and waste from it today. There’s a small waterfall in it. My skimmer has the biofall filters and bioballs.
Do I need any other devices for oxygen or waste?
I just filled the pond back up with water (I’m on well).
What’s my next steps? Be as descriptive as possible!
