This sweet snowshoe baby was in my neighborhood for at least a month. I saw her running into my buildings garage a few days ago and wanted to check on her and make sure she was okay. She ended up attaching herself to us immediately. We brought her in, and posted her pictures in hopes our community would help us find her family. She had a collar on, the metal clasp staining her fur green.
She’s so sweet and talkative and lovey. We couldn’t find her family and she isn’t chipped so we are her new family! She’s already settled in with our three other cats and our puppy lol

Just over two years. Solutions. Operations. Animal care. Management. Transfer upon transfer. Moving states. Recovering a department. Endless stretches, open to closes, fighting through having no GM TWICE. Working with people who don’t even care about the animals. HR reports. Investigations. People doing drugs runs AND DRUGS on the clock. Leaders harassing partners. Threatening them. Drinking on the clock. Goals goals goals targets targets comp comp comp, VEDNOR CALLS!!! don’t forget CAPI, and the checklists and everything else you already forgot because you’re expected to do the job of three different people.

Part of me will miss it.

Part of me is celebrating.

Either way… I never have to go back.
