Is it possible my post insomnia anxiety is due to long term lunesta usage?

I was sick for like 8 months last year from severe allergies and asthma then pneumonia and multiple other infections. I was using Lunesta a lot and taking tolerance breaks once it stopped working. I would be up for 24-50 something hours sometimes when I had to take a break because I was coughing so much or just because I was too sick for Lunesta to work.

Now it’s been a month I’ve been getting consistent sleep but my anxiety and cognitive abilities are shot now. I feel very awkward everywhere I go, indecisive and have anxiety feeling for no reason about an hr after I wake up. Even when I try to use Lunesta like 1 time a week it doesn’t work anymore at all.

Anyone know if this could be the case Im going back to my doc next week since these things don’t seem to be going away.

I have severe allergies and live in a city that has very bad grass pollen that causes frequent hospitalization due to asthma. I’ve found grass pollen counts is what tends to cause the most issues. I’m looking to go to college for a medical program but I can’t do it unless I can live somewhere I’m not throwing up and staying awake for multiple days straight from coughing.
