I picked up a hullavator earlier this year for the goal to start solo kayak fishing. Since the Hullavator has a weight limit of 75lbs and I am about 6'1" 280lbs, my choices are limited...
I need some recommendations before I go out and try to demo them in the store/water. I only plan to fish at local lakes/reservoirs. The waters are relatively calm and I will have access to a ramp.
Ive been looking at Bonafide SS127/RS117/SKF117. The light weight, high capacity, and the ability to rig looks promising. But I'll probably start just with a crate, a rod holder and paddle.
Has anyone had experience loading these kayaks using hullavator or have other recommendations? There are several reports of 35-36 inch kayaks won't fit in the Hullavator despite the spec saying 36 inch.
