Does this idea for a fanfic sound good?
So, I really, REALLY love the Rowdyruff Boys. I have autism, and they were a MAJOR special interest of mine for YEARS. I love the Powerpuff Girls too, ofc. My favorite Rowdyruff Boy is Butch, and my favorite Powerpuff Girl is Bubbles. Almost a year ago, I started writing a fanfic about Bubbles and Butch. It wasn't shipping, btw, it was about them becoming friends.
Blossom and Buttercup got very sick, almost to the point of death. No one could figure out why. Bubbles didn't get sick, but the city feared for her safety, and, of course, the professor did as well. In the end, he decided that the only way to protect her was to send her away. Bubbles was shipped off to a boarding school in England.
On the other side of town, Mojo Jojo and HIM were still in a custody battle over the boys. (Like in the "Custody Battle" episode of the show.) Eventually, they decided that Brick would stay with HIM, and Boomer would stay with Mojo, but they didn't know where to send Butch. Eventually, they decided to send him off to a boarding school, all the way in England. The same one Bubbles was sent to.
Bubbles and Butch ended up in the same room, and, at first, they couldn't stand each other. Butch thought that Bubbles was annoying, and too nice. Bubbles thought that Butch was gross and rude. Both thought that the other one was a complete idiot. Eventually, though, Bubbles finds out about a series of murders that had taken place on the campus, and, being a hero, she wants to solve them. Butch, being a villain, knows a lot about crime. He knows how psychos, criminals, and even murderers work. She needs some help, and he needs something to do, so they work together.
After a few weeks, they nearly catch the killer, and they've grown much closer as friends, even if they don't like to admit it. However, their reluctent friendship must come to an end, when HIM finds out about his son's little adventures with Bubbles. Butch is withdrawn from school, and taken back to Townsville, leaving Bubbles alone, until he can escape from the clutches of his father and get back to her.
Soon enough, they discover who the murderer was, and take them down together. After that, Bubbles gets the news that she may return home, because her sisters got better. Butch and her share a tight hug, and fly off from each other. The end.
I know it sounded kinda cheesy, and obviously that wouldn't be the full fanfic, but that's the basis of it. I haven't thought about this story in a long time, because I kind of abandoned it months ago, but I wanna know what people would think of it, if I did revise it a bunch and release it.
