India TRV : Cannot submit on VFS appointment date
My TRV got approved and I recently received the passport submission request.
The IRCC letter says I need to submit it within 30days.
But when I go to the VFS website, I cannot choose my own date. I’ve to submit it as per an appointment time and date given by them. Now I won’t be able to submit it at that time as I would be out of the country on that date. I’d be back a couple of days later.
The VFS appointment letter says I cannot cancel or reschedule, but if I do miss the appointment I can rebook another one after 3 days.
Anybody else who has intentionally missed their appointment in order to reschedule? And are there any consequences to doing that ?
Also, how long does it usually take to get the passport back ? Again, talking about India (Delhi VFS)
