What to do about divisions on the left?

What to do about divisions on the left? Howsabout we start by acknowledging that they're real? Stop papering over the cracks. The Democratic Socialists of America are a fascinating example of a party that has turned factionalism into an organizing strength. You might disagree, and that's fine, but let's test our theories in practice so we can collectively learn from the results. More: https://links.org.au/defining-democratic-socialists-america

Congratulations to the Haqooq e Khalq Party- HKP, a member of the Progressive International, for bringing together many of the world's leading left activists and intellectuals for the International Anti-Imperialist Conference (3 May 2026). The old tools of social democratic internationalism - earnest petitions, strongly worded resolutions, appeals to international law - were designed for a world in which the powerful still sought to maintain appearances. That world is gone; the mask is off. This conference asked what a new anti-imperialist resistance might look like. The proceedings of the conference are available here: https://www.youtube.com/live/NHes_rf8nv0 #antiimperialism #DemocraticSocialism
